Nursery Caregiver: High Schoolers/Adults who will lovingly nurture and care for infants and toddlers; birth to thirty-six months of age. Length of commitment: September through mid-June or mid-June through mid-September. Weekly time commitment: 90 minutes per week.

Lead Teachers: We seek High Schoolers/Adults who have a love for God and a personal relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ. Team members teach interactive Bible truths and lessons in large and small group settings at services. Length of commitment: September through mid-June or mid-June through mid-September. Weekly time commitment: up to three hours per week, including service time.

Assistant Teachers: Junior Highers/High Schoolers/Adults who have a love for God, and a personal relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ. You’ll support the team through completing assigned tasks (e.g. record keeping, greeting, providing games, opening activities, helping with art projects, etc.), as well as assisting the leader in teaching the lesson. Length of commitment: September through mid-June or mid-June through mid-September. Weekly time commitment: 90 minutes per week.

Assistant trainees: This is a service project for 4th - 6th graders as they mature in their walk with Christ. One junior assistant (grades 4 - 6) per class will be able to help in the preschool area (2 - 5 year olds). This person must have a personal relationship with Jesus and be eager to serve and be a positive role model for preschoolers. They must also attend Sunday School during the hour they are not serving. Length of commitment: September through November term, December through February term, March through May term or June through August term.

Elementary praise and worship leader or team: High Schoolers/Adults who have a love for God and who will seek to be a positive role model for His children. Must be outgoing and not afraid to lead kids in singing and worship. Length of commitment: September through mid-June or mid- June through mid-September. Weekly time commitment: lead worship during the first 15 minutes of each service.

Tech Support: Junior Highers/High Schoolers/Adults who can operate the audio and visual media used for the children’s program. Length of commitment: September through mid-June or mid-June through mid- September. Weekly time commitment: 90 minutes per week.

Small Group Leaders: High Schoolers/Adults who have a love for God and a personal relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ. These people will lead discussion, lead prayer in a small group setting. Length of commitment: September through mid-June or mid-June through mid-September. Weekly time commitment: 90 minutes per week.

Behind the Scenes

Even if you aren’t prepared to participate in leading the kids, there is a place for you in Children’s Ministries.

Elementary Snack Coordinator: The purpose of snack time is to provide a nutritious, tasty snack that the kids can enjoy so that they will be better able to focus on their lessons. Snack is served to 4 year-olds through 4th graders from 10:15 - 10:40 on Sundays in the elementary area. Snack team is also responsible for planning snack and clearing up leftover snacks. Length of commitment: September through mid-June or mid- June through mid-September. Weekly time commitment: 90 minutes per week.

Elementary Greeters/Check-In Team: Friendly, outgoing adults who have the gift of hospitality, and are good at warmly interacting with kids and parents. Serving 4 year olds through 4th graders - greet and check kids in for one of the service times. Length of commitment: September through mid-June or mid-June through mid-September. Weekly time commitment: 30 minutes prior and 5 minutes into each service.
Substitutes: High Schoolers/Adults who are willing to serve where needed on an “on-call” basis. Length of commitment: on call year round.
